High House Sand and Gravel Quarry Planning Approval
Following submission of a planning application and Environmental Statement in 2006 for a large extension, planning permission was granted by Cumbria County Council in March 2007 for some 1.4 million tonnes of sand to allow the quarry to continue to 2021. For our clients, D A Harrison, it was important to obtain further reserves for a significant period, which will ensure the security of their concrete business, the supply of aggregate materials and employment in West Cumbria.
