We apply technical rigour and reliable, independent advice to all our clients to ensure a successful outcome

Our work in the public sector is diverse. We work on delivering local authority evidence bases for local planning decision-making and peer reviews of and advice on assessment chapters for EIAs for London boroughs as part of the development management process. We provide advisory services for government agencies such as Natural England, Defra and Homes England.

Whatever the project, it is always characterised by the technical rigour, reliable, independent advice and peerless quality for which we are known. We provide pragmatic, accessible and user-friendly advice for our clients in government at all levels.

“I like working for Stephenson Halliday, not only because of the wide variety of work I am involved with, from Landscaping design for Solar farms and residential housing in England; to Landscape and Visual appraisals for recycling centres in Wales. It’s also because I work for a business with all the benefits of being a small business. The family feel of a place of work you actually like coming to. Colleagues that you know and have good relationships with, flexible working embraced by management team who understand your family commitments; but being within the RSK business you too get all the benefits of working for a large business too. Such as work & lifestyle benefits, offices around the country and working with different teams and people, and the knowledge if you don’t specialise in something someone will!”
