Stephenson Halliday provided landscape services for Shropshire Homes brownfield residential development on Monkmoor Road, Shrewsbury.
Our client, Shropshire Homes, sought to develop a brownfield site within Shrewsbury town centre. Their plans were to regenerate nine of the existing cottages on the site and introduce 25 new build homes.
To support this vision, our landscape team was brought on board to provide landscape input on the proposed layout. Drawing inspiration from the site’s strong natural surroundings, the team designed a series of inviting pocket parks to seamlessly integrate the development into its setting.
While working closely with the client and the project ecologist, RSK Biocensus, our team designed a series of beautiful amenity spaces for use by the new residents. Our efforts also delivered measurable environmental benefits, achieving a 10% biodiversity net gain, reflecting our commitment to sustainable design.
